Each standard represents a specific category of the guest experience, referred to as a Competency or Subcompetency. These categories help organize the evaluation criteria into meaningful segments. By grouping standards under competencies, the assessment provides a structured view of performance, making it easier to identify strengths and areas for improvement within each aspect of the guest journey.
1. On the Dashboard, click the desired tool to view its competencies. In this guide, Qualify is used as an example.

2. Click the settings icon in the top-right corner, then select ‘Manage Locations’.

- Click the ‘Competency’ tab to view the list of Competencies along with their corresponding Subcompetencies and Codes.

4. By default, only active competencies are displayed. If available, you can change the language setting to view the competency details in another language.

5. In Qualify, you can tag each subcompetency as either Service or Facility. These tags are used in Mystery Shop and Audit Cycles to calculate and display Service and Facility scores.

6. To change a competency status to Inactive, click the three-dot menu to edit and toggle the status off. The same process applies to subcompetencies. If a parent competency is set to Inactive, all associated subcompetencies will also be marked as Inactive.
A subcompetency displayed in red font indicates that it is Inactive while its parent competency remains Active.

7. To export in an Excel file, click the Action button.
